Check it out here!

The Coaches vs Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. This initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs. Since 1993, coaches have raised nearly $100 million for the American Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer Tennessee Tip-off Virtual Celebration will be held on September 24th, 2020! The Tennessee Tip-off boosts enthusiasm for the upcoming basketball season, shares team predictions, and recognizes and cultivates relationships with the team's supporters. Guests will enjoy a unique experience to see our coaches, and an evening of basketball banter; all while raising funds to support the American Cancer Society's lifesaving mission.

Our mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer!

Our vision is a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. Our purpose is to achieve it.

Whether it’s providing emotional support, the latest cancer information, or a home away from home when treatment is far away, we’re there when you need us- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With an investment of more than $4.5 billion since 1946 and $150 million in 2015, the Society is the largest private, nonprofit source of cancer research funds in the United States.

The success of the American Cancer Society research program is exemplified by the fact that 49 Society-funded researchers have gone on to win a Nobel Prize.

With your support, we will save even more lives than ever before. Together, we are stronger than cancer.

If you are interested in helping make our Tennessee Coaches vs. Cancer event a reality please let us know of your interest.

Our partners and volunteers make up the team that helps make the American Cancer Society Mission Possible.
