ABOUT COACHES VS. CANCER

The Coaches vs Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. This initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs. Since 1993, coaches have raised nearly $100 million for the American Cancer Society.

ABOUT THE COACHES VS. CANCER TENNESSEE GOLF CLASSIC

For the American Cancer Society's 2022 Coaches vs. Cancer Tennessee Golf Classic, we would like to take this opportunity to ask you to join us, our Coaches, corporate sponsors, business and philanthropic leaders, and distinguished guests in the fight against cancer. CVC has brought forth an amazing history towards the fight against cancer and raising millions for Cancer Research. In our first year in 2021, together our Staff, Coaches, Sponsors, and Guests raised over $475,000 for Cancer Research!!

The American Cancer Society provides patient programs and life-saving research to individuals battling cancer. For over 100 years, the ACS has been the leader in the fight against cancer and has made it their mission to attack cancer from every angle. The critical work of that mission can only continue with the support of donors and corporate partners like yourselves.

At our annual CVC Tennessee Golf Classic in 2022 at The Golf Club of Tennessee (#167 on Golf Digests Top 200 Courses in the Country, March 2021), you will have the opportunity to attend our Tip-Off Reception Sunday, followed by a day of prestigious golf on Monday in Nashville. Please help us in coming together during our Coaches vs. Cancer Tennessee Golf Classic event. With your support and our state's combined efforts, we can celebrate the mission of the American Cancer Society and our Coaches across Tennessee.

We look forward to seeing you on the course!
